Hi there, I recently graduated with a BSc in Microbiology and Immunology from Melbourne University, and have applied to study medicine at CUHK in Hong Kong. I've been having trouble finding information about what medical school is like in Hong Kong (especially in the clinical years) and what the internship year is like.
Does anyone know how the student work/life balance compares to medical schools in the US/UK/AU? I would prefer to study and practice abroad, but definitely cannot afford to pay international fees. Whilst I understand that all medical students have to sacrifice a lot in terms of time, balance, health – I was wondering if it is significantly worse in HK?
Thanks a lot for your advice.
