I would definitely focus on two things: shadowing with an optometrist and studying for the OATs. Make sure you fully understand this career choice by working with an optometrist because they will ask you about why you chose optometry in interviews, be prepared. Like any other schools, standardized tests are really important so take some time just to prepare for the OATs. Anything 320+ is usually a pretty good score, but it really depends on your entire resume/grades/application. Good luck!
