I have a Primary Care Loan that simply requires me to work in primary care for the life of the loan (10 years). I can work anywhere, see the richest patients I want to, even practice concierge medicine and I would still satisfy the requirement of working in a primary care field.
I work, however, at a FQHC because I love it. I'm trying to apply for NHSC repayment and have been getting different answers form different folks at NHSC about whether the PCL is considered a "service obligation" that disqualifies me from getting repayment.
Anyone have any experience with this? Get repayment despite having a PCL? If so how did you do it? Insight is appreciated.
