Hello everyone,
This is a question for a friend. My friend took board exams back in 2003 and passed them all.In 2004 due to family issues, he went back to his native country to practice medicine. He applied for residency this year and got 0 interviews since his scores were too old. He is a US citizen. he tried retaking the exams as was suggested by some residency programs. But in order to retake the exams, medical board has to sponsor you and so far none will. Anyways, he pretty much gave up on residency and wondering what are his job options? if anyone was similar situation and by some miracle landed residency please share that as well. His family is in California so he prefers to stay there .
Thank you in advance
