Hello. I know, as an IMG, that having USCE increases your chances for getting interviews. I did not have the opportunity to get USCE when I was still in Med school. I already took all my steps and planning to apply for neurology for match 2021. Right now I have a Job in the USA as clinical research coordinator in neurosurgery at a public hospital. My job involves enrolling patients to clinical trials, interviewing patients (protocol consent, clinical history), performing MRIs, blood drawing, taking ECGs. Can this be considered USCE? In most sites I read discussions about how observerships and research in the USA are not considered the USCE that residency programs are looking for (hands on experience). Anyone some idea? similar experience? Thanks!
